Today I would like to let you know about an awesome resource for hazardous waste disposal. See the picture below? I come across this all the time when buying houses, but I’m sure you may have some of this lying around your house or garage too. As I’m sure you know, old paint, old TV’s, used batteries and the like cannot go into our trash cans. So how do you dispose of these items? Los Angeles has a SAFE Center where you can dispose of almost any residential hazardous waste material, including old paint, motor oil, e-waste (computers, cell phones, TV’s), batteries, fluorescent lights and more. Their address is 2649 E Washington Blvd, Los Angeles, and are open every Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 3pm. They will ask you for your LA County address. You drive on in and stay in your car as they unload the items from your trunk for you.
